The spring migration continues to build here in Fairbanks. In this shot you can see: Trumpeter Swans, greater white fronted and lesser canada geese and mallard and northern pintail ducks.

A 14 mm lens enabled double star trails over my campsite at Bighorn Plateau, which is on the John Muir Trail in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. The campsite was pretty, but we were disappointed to discover the pond was full of bug larvae and therefore undrinkable. I bribed my hiking partner to hike 2.5 miles and get drinking water for us with a battery charge.
