I GIULLARI AL CHIARO DI LUNA: un’opera che considero “incompiuta” ; nel caso dei miei lavori mai del tutto terminati , resta il fatto che decidere di portarli a termine vorrebbe dire cambiarne l’aspetto e di conseguenza il significato: cioè sono incompiuti e compiuti allo stesso tempo .I due giullari dipinti con tutte le tonalità degli azzurri , si lasciano trasportare dalla magia della luna, si stanno innamorando ; fiori appena abbozzati , oggetti domestici, succosi agrumi e solide radici rappresentano un clima di imminenti ”nozze”, solo la figura femminile che si intravede dalla brocca di vetro lascia un’ombra di incertezza.
THE JESTERS AT THE MOONLIGHT: a work that I consider "unfinished" , in the case of my work never completely finished, remains the fact that decide to carry them out it would mean to change its appearance and consequently the meaning: that are unfinished and made at the same time. The two jesters painted with all shades of blues, are carried away by the magic of the moon, they are falling in love; just sketched flowers, household objects, juicy citrus and solid roots represent an atmosphere of impending "wedding" , only the female figure that is visible from the glass pitcher leaves a shadow of uncertainty.
