As if he knew this would be the last evening together he came by very close a few days ago to say goodbye personally. Just as if he knew the day after workmen would destroy his complete habitat by cutting (small) trees down and mowing all the rough. Allthough this type of contact is something I always wanted, it makes me feel sad to have lost contact with him so far.
This shot is made long after sunset, so don't mind the noise and lack of color.

Henny was already refering to this fight. The Stonechat didn't really like this wide angle lens, in fact he's in love with my 600mm.... Or is he just fighting with his reflection?

Went with my friend Henny van Heerden (HvHE1) to my other litlle friend the Stonechat. Of course the apperature of her had to be approved before she was able to start shooting.... Think he wasn't impressed with that Canon 100-400mm lens at all :)
