43 Junction Road used to have two silos that operated from 1893 to as early as the mid-1980s. It was known as Queen City Mills and Campbell Flour Mills, however, most people know it as the Maple Leaf Mills silos where one was demolished in the early 2000s and St. Mary's Cement had the other silo in use until the winter of 2014 when the last silo got demolished. They will be demolishing the mall behind it, with a supermarket and gym to make way for 5 or 6 towers.
It's already impossible to get around here during rush hour and on the weekend. Not sure who wants to live next to a large active rail yard and mainline either, but meh?
