Love taking photos.
Really love taking photos of interesting people.
But I especially love taking photos of interesting people I get along great with. Where everyone's having a great time, laughing it up, talking about all manner of madness.
Like what happened with Aayla. She and her boyfriend showed up in town, we ate something Vegans call "food", then we went to the local Crack park and had ourselves a time. In between the hobos and the 12 step meeting and the guy selling water and the other people moving boxes of shoes around, we had ourselves a time. Found some great light (thanks, large white building that reflected the sunlight in just the right way!!!), found us a bit of quiet, took us some pictures. Made her laugh, jump around, punch me, all the ol' tricks. Talked nerd stuff, talked shit about shitty photographers...I do love talking shit.
And I'll tell ya: it's one thing finding out you've got similar likes. But it's a far deeper connection when you find you have the same hatreds.
