Julia, mastermind of the shoot, led us all to the pool. I can't even describe the magnificence of this thing, man. Unlike every other pool I have ever seen, it just starts. one second you're walking on ground, next water. I'd call it an Infinity Pool, but another kind of pool already took that name. The water is on the same level as the ground, man. Brilliant.
And Julia herself did not disappoint with her selection of swimsuit. The lady's got legs and talent that do not quit.
And yes, in case you were wondering, I did indeed pose in the waterfall wearing my birthday daishiki.

Along with our regular Polaroid Nerd Out crew, we brought along a few new faces. One of these was the Krunk Master extraordinaire, Jordan Fraker.
I fully expected him, knowing only a few cats at the gig, to keep himself to himself, play both his photos and his thoughts close to the vest.
But the guy came on like a hurricane of fun, yukking it up with the rest of us and immediately earning the title of Friend.
Wicked sense of humor, wicked photographer, and wicked nipples.
Glad to have met him.
I love you, internet!!!!

When Julia told me she was getting a tattoo on her leg, I warned her that it was a tricky place, a place where a good tattoo could look quite bad. Then she sent me the image of a huge bug, and I became quite concerned, but figured it'd be awhile before anything happened, and thus I'd have more than enough time to talk her out of it.
Well, she went and got it almost right away. And now that I've seen it in person, I have to admit, it's weirdly awesome. It's a huge bug on her leg, high enough to hide if she wants to, but wild enough that she should never actually want to. She should wear short shorts all the time, show off that crazy thing. The lady's got major stones, getting a tattoo that wild.
Major stones indeed.

Clyde to Tod's Bonnie, Andi showed up more than ready to throw herself to the photo wolves, knowing she'd be thoroughly photographed, yet not complaining once about all the commands, directions and funky dresses thrown her way.
Jump on the bed, hold hands, don't move, move, turn your head, lay down, now back up. Patience, thy name is Andrea.

because a girl named elizabeth reminded me I seem to be straying from my roots, here's a Polaroid. Of Greg. Without his shirt on.
Basically, this is for the ladies.
