Part of my editing process is to delete photos I don't like. Initially, I had limited hard drive space, literally did not have room to keep every digital I took. So I had to be picky, only the ones that resonated with me.
Eventually, I became sooooo rich, I was able to afford an external hard drive. But by then, the habit had become entrenched. Just yesterday I was going back into some photos from 2018, trimming the photos of a few shoots, each "album" a bonsai tree.
When I was looking through this shoot with Hannah (from 2014, such an innocent time!), I came upon this image. Why did I keep this one? What was it that prevented me from hitting Delete?
What do you think it was?
