COMMON PLANTAIN
(Plantago lanceolata) Type 'l'to see large. Repeat to return.
Common wild plants are beautiful when we bother to look at them closely. In the centre of the flower stem is the ring of open flowers, below them are the spent-flowers and those forming seeds, and above the ring of open flowers are the tightly closed flower-buds yet to open.
Taken over two years ago in France. (16 May, 2018). To see details view large.
