three years after the end of British rule and the partition of the former India, into India and East and West Pakistan. [Errol (Tripod 01) aged 9 years, on left]
I love those old B/W posed studio family shots. Looking serious seemed
to be a requirement of the studio photographer in such times and so
I clearly broke the rule. For me of course this is a nostalgic memento of
my earlier childhood years in India. (For inclusion in the "Non-serious Family Stuff" set)
