White it may break records in the UK today for the warmest Christmas Eve on record, there is a chance of snow across high ground in the Scottish Highlands tomorrow. Just one flake makes it a white Christmas. Where I am it is just very wet and incredibly windy, gusting up to 70 mph. Santa might have to practice some crosswind landings!

I must be getting old - Father Christmas is getting younger each year! Knowing full well that the week before Christmas can be really quite a stressful one for some, I wish for peace and calm for you all. Take care and be nice to each other.

I wish for peace on earth as did the songwriters of the song in my title which related to the Cuban Missile Crisis of the Cold War. We are just one of millions of species on a single oasis in the vacuum of space. It's time we learned to stop fighting each other. Stay safe everyone.
