Image Description: |
In California the forests pines tower above the forest floor. As you gaze through them at the vast sky, a massive rampart of granite juts skyward into the clouds above. The vertical sheer wall seemingly defies laws of gravity. A delicate waterfall plummets down the cliff forming waves of water that turn to a delicate mist. As the sunsets each February the light strikes the waterfall from afar and golden light slips into reddish hues turning the waterfall into a flaming spectacle water that dances and flows magically along the sky. You might think this scene impossible but you see it with your own eyes and in that moment all things seem possible. The light fades slowly up the fall and at the last glimmer a cheer goes up from the spectators as if it was some theatrical endeavor the likes that can only graces the stage of Yosemite National Park. |
