I've missed taking self portraits. I took a bunch today and I'll probably upload some rejects tomorrow. I've got to clean the house because my mom is having people over tomorrow and she's freaking out. Ugh.
Also, does this follow the rule of 3rds?
I gridded it in PS. My eye sort of hits an intersection? I'm utterly confused about it, STILL. Even after Googling it. And watching the podcast. 3 times. I think I kind of know how to crop a photo to make it interesting, but the whole thirds thing...yeah it's gone completely over my head.
And what makes me mad is that I'm sure it's so much simpler than I'm making it out to be. I feel stupid. Really. I hate not being able to understand things. I feel like I'm back in my Special Ed Algebra class.
I'm posting it to the podcast thread in 365days anyway, and if it doesn't follow the rule...oh well? I tried doing negative space because I really do love negative space but my camera/face wasn't cooperating and I was sick of my tripod so I went for an arms length shot instead. Shoot me.
