A late afternoon moment at famous Deadvlei, created on my 8th trip to Namibia and after experiencing some 20+ sunsets at this place. The magic never fades and ideas of new compositions never end.

Last rush of the day by chasing storm and light to get to this spot. The hike included strong wind, sand in the eyes and drenched clothing and backpack. Glad that I visited this spot several times before and knew exactly what to do in the last remaining minutes to capture the moment.

Image taken at my last sunrise of the Lake Powell Workshop 2022 with Bill Bowman and John Mumaw at my side. We hiked in onto the Rainbow Plateau and stayed overnight for some early morning shots of a place that I scouted May of last year as preparation for the workshop.
