Washington DC is a monumental city. No questions!
The amount of people visiting and crowding its monuments is almost even more monumental than Washington DC’s monuments itself. Not easy to find a moment to have the monuments just for yourself. Finally I found a moment of piece sharing the space just with Abraham Lincoln sitting in my back. Here is his spoiled and eternal view of the George Washington Memorial right before sunrise at 6 am.

An early morning of wandering around the National Mall and taking in its beauty devoid from the sometimes overwhelming amount of tourists clogging up the view and not allowing to stand eye to eye with Abe.
