Little famous ruin hidden somewhere in Cedar Mesa, UT. Driving down a little road with mud pools and a hike down a canyon to find it was a special fun. Finally finding it was a special treat. Despite the abundance of images of this place I could not resist taking my own shots and presenting one of the many angles.
Image created from three vertical frames. The T&S 19 mm is a fantastic lens allowing easily such pano shots without any distortions!

There are multiple White Houses in the US. The most famous one is better not to be mentioned at this moment as it is a complete embarrassment. Luckily enough there are other White Houses which are quite inspiring.
This is an old image taken at Canyon de Chelly with a fresh post-processing approach. Getting to this spot is easy, getting back to the car not so much …
It is not very easy to take a shot of this place. Ansel Adams visited the White House Ruin himself and created an iconic photograph. I saw an original print in Santa Fe several years ago. The price tag was US$ 185,000!!! Getting beyond his creation is a challenge. Getting beyond the price tag impossible!

A little, intimate ancient pueblo ruin which stopped me in my tracks. I got here on a day after a snow storm has blanketed the landscape. The road was covered by some untouched deep snow and the hike was only possible with my snowshoes and gaiters.
The beauty of this place was so overwhelming to me that I stayed there, despite the cold weather for 5 1/2 hours to make sure that the sun was in the right position for the image. The feelings that overcame me by staying there and absorbing the nature, the silence and the location for all these hours is something that I was not able to photograph.
