I spend two consecutive nights in an airplane to finally have this sight before I dropped more dead then alive in a real bed. Stops were in New York, Johannesburg and last destination was Livingstone. Despite being quite tired I still had the energy to drive all the way to the Victoria Falls and see the sunset.
Local people call Victoria Falls “Mosi-oa-Tunya” which means “The Smoke Which Thunders”.
The shot was taken from the eastern part of the Victoria Falls which is located in Zambia looking west into Zimbabwe.

Famous spot and it is almost impossible to get anything original out of it as everybody has already their shot and version. I was glad to be there and came back with mine ;-)
The timing to get a single person in the frame is not an easy task, as there were literally multiple busloads of people in the area! Finally, I got my private model solo.

After a drive from Reykjavik to the Snaefells Peninsula I got to the little towns of Arnarstapi and Hellnar. Both have nice cafes and these were my first stop. After a relaxing moment and some espresso sips I dragged my camera to the sea to explore the coast. The main attraction is the famous Gatklettur (hole-rock) which is a round hole in a remaining volcanic sea stack.
