One of the many rewarding moments of hiking in the four corners area is the unforeseen find of beautiful elements of art in the middle of the wilderness at the least expected places.
This particular petroglyph is quiet off the beaten path. Contrary to many other petroglyph sites I have seen so far this one stands by itself. It is unusually tall with some 2-3 feet. Its beauty is stupend and I believe it could compete with many other modern art work and over-shine most by far.
