Image created at the Jumbo Rock Campground located in the heart of the Joshua Tree National Park.
The secret is to be there early afternoon to have your tripod and camera placed at the right spot way before the light gets right. The spot is tight and the composition is highly disputed at each sunset.
This image is a composite of three photographs as I had to use the software HeliconFocus for stacking to achieve focus throughout the entire image without using a small aperture. I intend to print this large for a photo show next year and diffraction resulting from a small aperture would have killed the prints quality.
