The sun goes down in Swakopmund and the city lights go on, including the searchlight of the 'little' Swakopmund lighthouse, which keeps boats and ships safe from the treacherous waters off the Skeleton Coast.

Are you interested in a Namibia Photo Tour, February 2023 or Monument Valley and Beyond Photography Workshop, April 2023?

Wrapping up a long day with a long exposure at some hidden part of the northwestern New Mexican badlands. The full moon bathed the landscape in an eerie shine that made me see things that were not there and yet my camera was able to capture these elusive hallucinations anyway.

Last rush of the day by chasing storm and light to get to this spot. The hike included strong wind, sand in the eyes and drenched clothing and backpack. Glad that I visited this spot several times before and knew exactly what to do in the last remaining minutes to capture the moment.

Are you interested in a Lake Powell Workshop, Oct 2021 (25% discount) or a Namibia Photo Tour, March 2022 (12.5% discount)?

A little, pleasant and refreshing creek coming down Boulder Mountain. It traverses a small canyon, hidden deep and of difficult access in the Capitol Reef National Park. I tried to visit it again in winter to photograph it with snow and ice, but had no luck as the ‘road’ was impassible.

An early morning of wandering around the National Mall and taking in its beauty devoid from the sometimes overwhelming amount of tourists clogging up the view and not allowing to stand eye to eye with Abe.
