Some may think that 'Nature Porn' is an odd name for this macro shot of a has-been flower. But look closer. Enlarge it and have a look at that, ahem, protrusion on the right hand side of the flower head and tell me it doesn't look like a... , well never mind, you get the picture.

I am very proud of this image and here's the reason why. My 21-year-old son walked by today as I was working on it and he grunted, then said "cool". He usually only grunts at my macro insect photos that look like characters from one of his computer games. And to get a "cool" out of him, well, how much better can it get?

Saw this chap outside of Westminster Abbey busking for the tourists. He must have thought they would be mostly American as he kept playing the US national anthem repeatedly. He did however have a smile and a twinkle in his eye when I caught his attention.
