The whole world is trying to enforce social distancing procedure to protect people from the current Covid-19 pandemic, except the Assad regime who has been killing Syrians in the last 9 years and now not taking the safety requirements seriously.
In the last few weeks the value of the Syrian Lira has dropped to be as low as 2000 against 1 USD, which caused the local markets to raise the prices of basic needs to the point people couldn’t afford the very basic groceries. What you see in this photo is a gathering around a market that has a little less expensive prices, people have gathered around -carelessly of the Covid-19 social distancing procedure- to catch up on what they can get.
Isn't it the governments' duty to apply the social-distancing procedure? Or should the people learn the rules and apply them by themselves?
