A water droplet on glass pane from a picture frame. Shot with a Venus Laowa 25mm Macro lens on a tripod. This was a test shot. I had the ISO set on auto and exceeded what I normally limit to 3200. I was prepped for a focus stacked but they did not have the same feel as my single test shot. Most of my good photos start as accidents perpetuated by ignorance.
A few specks were photoshopped out, Shot was not cropped.

Out for the daily walk to get a breather I pass this weathered warning on a metal grate. This past week I took a shot of it each time. Today the lighting made it stand out a bit more.

Not all smoke is complicated. Mirrored smoke, very translucent. I had this one all built out but decided it had more impact as a stand alone. Very minimal posting involved, blemishes and dust taken out in Camera raw, mirrored and name tagged in photoshop.

Walking around Los Angeles, not a comment just an observation. I have a tendency to look down or to the side when waiting for a shot to clear and take throw away images (like this) while I wait. Sometimes they end up more interesting that what I first set out to shoot.
