Up & about by 5:30 a.m. on this particular day. Made it to the Tower turn off around 7:20 a.m. and kept our eyes peeled for Rosie and her cubs, as we had watched them the day previous. Upon rounding a curve, we spotted a few people standing on the side of the road and knew instantly that we had hit the jackpot. Even better yet, there was no ranger in sight. The husband dropped me off so he could go and park the car. I thought, "here's my chance to show what can be captured with my new 80-400mm lens." I set up the tripod and camera and was not disappointed. For at least 30 minutes, these little cubs put on quite the show; running around, playing, fighting, and having a good time. Mama bear was never far away and stayed between the spectators and her babies. While it is probably not the best strategy, I decided to just shoot away and prayed for a couple of keepers. In all, I probably took 200 images from this one sitting. While sorting through all of the images, I came across this one, and it instantly captured my heart.....a true sign that siblings still love each other despite all their differences.
