30th January 2020 at the Mitchell Theatre, Glasgow (supporting 'The Orcadians of Hudson's Bay').

Celtic Connections Festival, www.celticconnections.com/.

Country: Britain - Scotland. Style: Traditional Scottish Folk.

Lineup: Graham Mackenzie (fiddle),David Shedden (highland pipes/low whistle), Pablo Lafuente (g) [dep].

This Glasgow based band is named after an area in the south-west of Sutherland. It had its first offical gig in January 2018 withr the members played together informally for several years before. The group includes Graham Mackenzie and David Shedden who met while studying music at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire. The other usual member of the trio, Innes White, was touring Australia with Siobhan Miller and was replaced by Pablo Lafuente. I have taken photo of Mackenzie with his own group, with Aizle and with his mother Alison (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/grahammackenzie,-a...), Shedden at the 2018 Young Traditional Musician of the Year final (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/davidshedden,-assynt/), and Lafuente with Josie Duncan and with Anxo Lorenzo (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/pablolafuente,-ass...).
