This trio focuses on tunes from the Limerick-Kerry border. Mick Mulcahy from Brosna, Co. Kerry recorded his first album in 1976. He settled in Abbeyfeale, West Limerick where his two daughters were raised (Louise now lives in Navan Co. Meath and Michelle in Limerick City). Mick had been part of the Brosna Ceili Band who were All Ireland Champion in 1972. Louise was the Flute Champoin in 2001 and Michelle TG4 Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2006.
