The members are brothers Séamus and Manus McGuire (from Sligo and now living in Donegal and Clare) who are both doctors, Jackie Daly (from Cork and now living in Clare) and Garry O'Briain (from Dublin and now also living in Clare). They have always been interested in traditional music from other countries (steming back to the time Séamus lived in Canada and Manus enjoyed a long stay with him). The concert also reflected Séamus' interest in tunes collected by Stephen Grier of Newpark, Gortletteragh, Co Leitrim in the nineteenth century.
