The Shetland Fiddlers’ Society was formed by Tom Anderson to perform at the Shetland Hamefarin’ in 1960. A reduced version of its members had made the trip to Aberdeen. They collaborate closely with Shetland Folk Dance group who jheld a workshop at NAFCo. This event was billed as "A Music Tour of the History and Geography of Shetland" with introductions to the tunes and photographs projected behind the musicians to illustrate the themes.
