This band's origins are found in Lansing, MI in 2008 when Josh Rilko are others started a Bluegrass band called the Flatbellies. In 2010 a new band was formed including Riko's future wife Lindsay and with a new name Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellies. It gradually moved away from Bluegrass towards Americana, and in 2013 P.J. George becamr a member. In 2015 the group moved to Nashville, TN, dropped the second part of their name and recently added drummer Jeff Wilson. About half this set consisted of songs from their latest album played with electric instruments (Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar) and "a percussive-driven, groove-based" sound.
