Pat Metheny was born and raised in Missouri and is now aged 63. Since his first album as a leader in 1976, Metheny has released many more with a wide variety of lineups. Here he played tunes from across his career with a with a new quartet of younger musicians (they have performed together since April 2016). This was the sixth time I had seen Metheny live (the others were the Pat Metheny Group twice, and collaborations with Gary Burton, Brad Mehldau and Michael Brecker), but the first for which I have any photos (which in response to the PA request I kept to just a few during the encores and post-performance applause).
