On the second day of our trip to West Virginia it decided to rain ... good thing I had planned on swinging by some caverns on our way from Harpers Ferry to Seneca Rocks.

Ever since picking up the Canon 5DMIII, I have been thinking about taking it into the caverns and shooting at ISO 1600 to 4000. Most of these caverns do not allow you take a tripod in, so shooting high ISO is needed. I also took in the 580 Flash unit so I could bounce light off the walls when need to supplement the light in the cavern.

Processed a couple of the shots taken at ISO 1600, and also 4000, and so far very impressed with the results. Best I have been able to obtain yet (without a tripod).
