This creek is on Giles Hollow Road in Lee County, Va. It is about five miles out of my hometown of Rose Hill. This particular spot is right next to Rose Dale Baptist Church, where I pastor. Since our little country church has no baptistry, we do the baptisms in this creek about fifty feet or so downstream. Many other churches in the community use our "baptising hole" for theirs as well.
To take the shot, I was standing in the middle of the creek with my tripod, hanging on to my Nikon with a death grip. I just knew I'd drop it in the water.
