This is my three year old granddaughter at 6:30 yesterday morning. She is autistic and so far, non-verbal, but her squeals and laughter fill the house, and her smiles are heaven. Although I try not to play favorites with my four grandkids, she holds a special place in my heart and I know I'm her pick. Autistic children are not stupid or mentally retarded. On the contrary, most are very smart, but unable to process their thoughts like you and I.

Mr. Wiggle is a four year old Velveteen Lop that was given to us today. He is very affectionate and seems to be adjusting to his new home pretty well. Hopefully he will get along with our other rabbit, Bun.

I never thought I'd ever get attached to a rabbit but my wife brought this one in about three months ago and she has captured my heart. I was raised on a farm with all kinds of critters and pets, but never a rabbit. After having dogs and cats in the house I've determined Bun is a lot less trouble (although she can manage to get into mischief you'd never expect). She loves attention as long as she can remain in the floor (She does not like to be picked up or held very well).
If you make her mad she will sit with her back to you and pout, or "thump" her back feet to let you know she's not happy. Sometimes she might even nip your fingers. This photo was taken during the only time she sat on my lap for any length of time. Watching her tear through the house leaping and jumping (called a binky) is hilarious.

Nights and early mornings are my favorite when I'm at the beach. This one was taken in Myrtle Beach, SC with the Skywheel less than a mile away.
