In the Village Museum Mönchhof, an insight into the everyday life of farmers and craftsmen in the heath land (as the old name for the northern part of today called "Seewinkel" region) given in the period from about 1890 to the late 1960s. On the basis of around 35 buildings with workshops, equipment and furnishings in the village museum is trying to revive the largely dominated by agriculture everyday life of that time. In addition to the permanent exhibition area, the Dorfmuseum Mönchhof regularly offers special exhibitions.
