Plenty of fallow deer around but yet again hardly any red. I used to be ale to see the whole heard regularly in the winter and the last 2 ruts have been the worst ever. I did wonder if the signs saying the number of dog attacks had gone up might be the reason for them hiding but that would obviously upset the smaller fallow even more.

Still think its a bit of a coincidence that its only since the new management took over and they now claim to have 450 fallow deer compared to only 200 a couple of years back.
