Glossy Ibis Dungeness RSPB.
The glossy ibis is an uncommon visitor to the UK, Glossy Ibis Dungeness RSPB.with around 20 different birds reported a year . I saw this Ibis land on Thursday evening and was amazed to find it was still there on Sunday morning the light was not good and he soon got spooked and hid as people came to look for him . Sunday evening the sun came out so I went back again, the reserve was deserted and I was lucky he showed in good light for quite a time and I got my photo`s .

This Male Green Woodpecker was photographed in thick mist in front of a field of grass the grass is completely obscured by the mist that was waist deep and the small trees in the background are hidden except for their tops . The image shows the toes that face each other for better grip and the way the tail is used as balancing prop
