From the car park at Loch an Eilein a relatively short walk takes you to the top of Ord Ban which offers wonderful views across Loch an Eilein and the Caledonian Pine Forests to the Cairngorms. The dawn light takes alittle time to make it over the top of the mountains and here I caught its first rays hitting the forest below. Autumn was still in full swing so the autumn colour contrasted nicely with the snow covered mountains.
