User / KAP Cris / Bush Past Prime revisited
Cris Benton / 11,370 items
This session involved a hike along the north levee of the Alameda Creek Flood Control Channel out to the southern edge of what is now Phase II at the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve. My idea for the day was to find the bush in Salt Pond E2C that I had photographed a decade earlier and photograph it again.

I found the bush and was able to get a nice comparison shot with my earlier “Bush Past Prime” photograph. The session also afforded views of the ExC Ponds near Alameda Creek, the flood control channel itself, and the adjacent hills.

I am taking these documentary photographs under a Special Use Permit from the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge. Kite flying is prohibited over the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge without a Special Use Permit.
