User / KAP Cris / Near La Riviere marsh - Fremont Slough tributary
Cris Benton / 8,971 items
In September 2017, I made a trip down to the Coyote Hills to photograph a bridge replacement project on Marshlands Road. This session included photographs of the La Riviere Marsh restoration project, former site of Arden Salt Works #1, and the understated landscape around Jarvis Landing, once a major boat landing in the South Bay. I also took a string of photographs beginning at the top of the southmost Coyote Hill and wandering to its termination in the marsh around Fremont Slough.

I am taking these documentary photographs under a Special Use Permit from the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge. Kite flying is prohibited over the La Riviere Marsh without a Special Use Permit.
