１年ぶりの沖縄本島。首里、南部の旅。
壺屋によったら必ず足が向くフェーヌカマ（南窯）のシーサー。
このシーサー、いつ見ても威風堂々としており、まるで生きているように感じる。
今回は夜のライトアップされたシーサーを捉えた。

I always have to see this Seaser, when I come to Tsuboya in Naha.
He looks like alive, and powerful.
I tried to get the scene of lightened up.

古都・首里の私のお気に入りのスポット、金城町の真珠道（まだまみち）。
12月のよく晴れた午後の日差しの中、珍しく静まり返った石畳を歩いた。

Old capital, Shuri. The spot Kinjo-cho, Madama-michi is my favorite.
I walked around there under the sun-light in December sun-light in the quiet atmosphere.

１年ぶりの沖縄本島。首里、南部の旅。
首里城近くの小高い丘から、那覇市街を眺めると、遙か30km先の渡嘉敷島までが見渡せた。
私が暮らしていた20年前と比べると、那覇もずいぶんと高い建築物が増えたように感じる。

I looked around Naha City from one hill near Shuri castle, I could recognize Tokashiki island.
In my memory 20 years ago when I was in Naha, I feel there is a lot of high buildings in Naha.

１年ぶりの沖縄本島。首里、南部の旅。
喜屋武岬を訪れたのは、記憶によれば20年ぶりだった。那覇・牧志でタクシーを拾って、行ってみた。タクシーの運転手も岬に辿り着くまでに農道で迷ってしまった。
平和祈念公園のある摩文仁と比べて交通の便が悪く人気もないが、沖縄本島最南端にほど近い。

I have been to Kyan cape since 20 years ago. I took a taxi at Makishi, Naha, and went to there. It took about 1 hour from Naha by taxi.
Taxi driver lost way near the cape.
It was less popular than Mabuni, the Peace National Park, but this cape is near the southest point of Okinawa main island.

１年ぶりの沖縄本島。首里、南部の旅。
喜屋武岬に寄ったついで、琉球王朝時代に作られたグスク・具志川城址に行ってみた。
20年前に近くまで来ている気がしたが、記憶が定かでない。
整備される前の荒々しい石垣が、歴史の想像力をかきたてずにはおれない。
ここも発掘調査後、首里城のように整備されて観光名所化する日がくるのかもしれない。

Ancient Ryukyu Kingdum era, Gushikawa castle was the one of the castle in Okinawa.
I don't remember when I came to near there 20 years ago.
It is excavated now, so it has very rough stone walls, feeling ancient history.
It may be the famous sightseeing spot after the excavation finish.
