The nave of San Maurizio is richly and beautifully decorated. The nave is divided into two parts.
There is the public (front) hall, Sanctuary Hall or Hall of Believers, with the main altar shown here. On the dividing wall behind the altar are frescoes depicting the Life of San Maurizio by Bernardino Luini, with a painting of the Adoration of the Magi by Antonio Campi in the center.
On the other side (ie. behind) of the dividing wall is the Hall of Nuns; which was where the nuns of the Benedictine convent attended mass. Milan; March 2017.
