This was captured at the Mediterranean Style Garden in front of the LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) Building. These days the reflecting pool and fountains that used to surround the building are dry thanks to what seems to be a drying down of LA's and California's climate, but I did find this low water use garden still provided some decent, though perhaps not as good, views.

This is the Mediterranean Style Garden in front of the LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) Building.
It occupies a portion of what were the reflecting pool and fountains that used to surround the entire building. The pools are now dry because of what seems to be a drying down of LA's and California's climate.

The skyscraper on the left is Exchange 106 (aka TRX 106 or TRX Tower); one of the taller (3rd tallest) buildings in the city. It is part of the TRX Exchange project associated with the infamous 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad) corruption scandal.
