Armand Nicolet is one of the smaller of the surviving independent Swiss watch manufacturers. They were founded in 1875 and are located in Tramelan, in the Bernese Jura area of Swiss canton of Bern.
This is their Day & Date, one of the more elegant and beautiful versions of this complication, but sadly is no longer in production.

I really like how the various hues of blues are used together on this Seamaster 75th Anniversary version of Omega's Planet Ocean diver watch.
I could not fully capture the interplay of the colours here, it actually looks even better "in real life".

The Rolex Datejust was launched in 1945 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. It was the first automatic wrist watch to have a date feature.
This 16238 version of the Datejust was first introduced in 1990; it was one of the first Rolex with the caliber 3135 movement. This movement proved to be so reliable that a replacement to this movement was only introduced some 30 years later (in 2019).
The Datejust remains one of Rolex's most recognizable and popular models.
