Another view of the bronze statue of Hercules that was found in a temple at the Forum Boarium. It can be seen at the Marcus Aurelius Exedra of the Musei Capitolini.
Gilded and slightly larger than life, this bronze sculpture depicts Hercules as a well muscled youth casually holding a large club (mace) in his right hand and an apple in his left hand.
