This hot air balloon pilot fired up his balloon directing in front of our seats as several balloons readied for lift off at the Midwest Balloon Fest at Kansas Speedway. We could feel the heat from where we were seated. Sorry for the posting of so many photos at one time, creating an album from the event.

This Star Wars Clone Trooper, on hand at the Midwest Balloon Fest at Kansas Speedway in keeping with the Darth Vader balloon there, stopped directly in front of my seat and posed with his weapon pointing at me. Took two very quick photos, one with him in focus and one with the barrel of the weapon in focus. Had my 70-200 on and couldn't get any wider photo. A fun time with these guys on hand posing with the kids in the crowd.
