A couple of King Penguins walking higher than I was at the new $15,000,000 Helzberg Penguin Plaza that just opened at the Kansas City Zoo. World class exhibit. Quality of photo not the best since shot thru glass and only the front penguin is in focus due to shallow DOF. Lots of room for them in temperature regulated display and lots of underwater viewing as they dart at high speed. There are 4 varieties of penguins at the zoo, the King Penguins are the largest and most colorful.

New Golden Lion Tamarin at the Kansas City Zoo clinging to its mother's back. Shot through glass in low light so not the best quality but too cute to pass up. It will enjoy the ride on mom or dad for about 2 months.
