This waterfall was an unexpected find while exploring the west coast of Northland. The Waiotemarama Falls are accessible via a short walk through the forest. As you approach the falls, you'll be greeted by the soothing sounds of cascading water echoing through the dense native bush. The water cascades 20 m down through the pristine rainforest, creating a mesmerising spectacle of water as it tumbles down into a crystal-clear pool below. The surrounding greenery adds to the enchanting atmosphere, with ferns, moss-covered rocks, and towering trees framing the scene.
