I'm trying to do something decent in street photography, I've always liked it but I've never known exactly how to do it well, I have a lot to learn, that's where I'm at... what I'm posting is a capture taken in the beautiful Mercado de Sant Antonio, in the city of Barcelona, the truth is that I took several photographs and I have to say that I felt a bit uncomfortable doing this...you know what I mean, you have to try to be discreet and not bother too much and that's not always easy, at least for me !
A guy walking around, with a big camera in hand, wouldn't exactly be the best idea to go unnoticed, still, I'm pretty satisfied.

This image is the result of what happens to me, when I'm walking through a charming old town, I can't resist passing by without stopping to photograph it, I wouldn't be faithful to my principles and my thinking... what I see inexplicably attracts me.

Far from seeing this as something ugly or unpresentable, for us lovers of photography, we see this as an opportunity to take a simple but beautiful photographic composition, the main idea for me, is to try to capture in the best way, the passage of time, the abandonment, or simply the oblivion of some houses in small towns. Just today I have also realized a beautiful but somewhat forgotten thing in this world, and it is those old people, so good and wise that you can find when you walk through these places, they explain to you, they teach you so many things, that the best thing you can do is to be quiet, listen and learn from their wise words...
I left that town having grown as a person.
I know that this kind of photography is not the most spectacular or brilliant for what one expects sometimes, but believe me, it's nice to do and to discover!

It's clear that many times less is more, for me this can be applied to photography, because beauty is in simplicity.
