After riding out a thunderstorm in my tent, the clouds broke up and I was treated to a wonderful sunset over Mt. Jefferson.

We were basking in the late summer sun one minute and the next we were enveloped in fog. That seems to be a theme in Olympic National Park and I love it!

This past fall my friend, Scott Smorra, and I had a blast exploring eastern Oregon. This was an incredibly windy morning and Scott was the smart one and found a spot to photograph out of the wind. I stayed up on this ridge trying to get a sharp image and stay upright at the same time!
