Yeah, I went for the D850. Have such a collection of AF-D lenses(which I LOVE, like my 135mm f2 DC and 85mm f1.4) that I did not want to cripple with an adapter and don't want to be a beta tester for a Z body just yet. It was very tempting and very painful, I was so looking forward to a lighter body that would be easier to travel with. The D850 is great though, happy with it so far.

The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the file size... my D810 shots, when processed in Lightroom and Photoshop, would give me TIFF files around 135MB which I thought was pretty big. The D850 shots, when processed the same are around 250MB! My pile of HDDs keeps growing in number,... not sure how I will sustain this...
