This one (of a phone keypad) was processed in Lightroom and Nik Silver Effects Pro 2 (overexposed setting).

Another possible for this week's Macro Mondays challenge: Nine.
It is a Dungeons & Dragons d20 (20 sided) gaming dice, and the view here is just 15mm across. The dot shows which way up to read the 6 and 9. I don't know why it is also on the 16 and 19 as reading upside down gives 91 or 61 and the maximum on the dice is 20!
To get in ultra close I used an old (45 years old) Takumar M42 bellows set matched with the Takumar Bellows 100mm, on a Canon 7D MkII via a M42 to EOS adaptor and a Kenko #1 EOS extension tube to get the camera body back enough that it didn't hit the bellows support unit. Ten seconds at f/11 (preset on the Takumar manual lens), ISO 160, and the whole lot on a tripod.
I took four different "9" pics this week and then had to decide which one to use!!

An old (well since NZ went metric about 40 years ago) wooden school rule.
The Macro Mondays challenge for next Monday has been announced and as it is 9th day of the 9th month the topic will be nine/9/ The number 9 or 9 objects as long as they stay within the 3"/75mm size limit, so I decided to start early as it is a cold wet day outside and I have been busy inside doing work for my camera club. I took a quick break to take a few macro shots.
And today it is exactly nine years since the first of the 2010-2011 earthquakes hit here at 4:35am. A lot of things have changed in this city in the years since then.

Tim, our oldest son was born on 29th February 1984, so while 36 years have passed, it is only the 9th 29/02 since then, so we had a special 9th birthday cake for him.
